Easy Gifts/Celebrations Year-Round!

Easy Gifts and Surprises For Year-Round Fun

I love gift-giving and planning celebrations throughout the year! I put together some ideas to have any gift come in style.

1. Unique Gifts:

They are one-of-a-kind gifts coming from one-of-a-kind stores like handmade items from local artists. Unique gifts can be found when donating to a good cause; shops like Unicef's and other foundations. Lastly, when I travel, I pick up local items to give for gifts. TOTALLY UNIQUE!

2. Themed Gifts:

Themed gifts are so fun! I have done tie-dye, Marvel+DC Comics, beauty, relaxation, uniqueness, science, and more! Themes make gift giving simple and add to any celebration.

3. Small Gifts:

Lots of small gifts. Lots of them. You can provide them throughout the day or offer them during activities. You can also give them all at once! Get creative with this one!

Tip: Wrap all the small gifts and do tiny gift bags. It adds to the adorability.

4. Messy Confetti Gift:

It's totally the best way to give a present! Get my confetti must-haves listed below. Layers of colorful confetti and stringers. Mix party favors such as candy, gift cards, and other small items with the confetti mixture. They will never expect a messy gift! Fun, colorful, and humorous!

 Grab my confetti must-haves :

2 packs of colorful confetti, colors of foil/paper streamer shreds, and multiple party favors.

5. Main item + compliment gifts :

The primary item can be the star of the show, and the others will complement the gift. This is fun for jewelry or a specific style.

6. Year-round celebration :

Celebrating year-round brings the most memories!  A simple card throughout the year or plenty of dates and parties. Some year-round activities are:

- A beach-themed goody bag for a day at the beach

- Buy a 1-month subscription  for them (magazine, food box, gadgets, etc.)

- Grab merchandise swag from something they enjoy

- Travel somewhere new

-Drive-In Movie Theatre

Tip: Do a fun activity; I recommend something you haven't done before!

7. Food dates :

Grabbing a new recipe and making fresh foods in the kitchen or going on a picnic; food is a joyous activity. How about dinner out on the town or trying something new?! Do you want to do a sampler tasting?

8. Simple cards:

Cards are a fantastic way to have fun, and they are convenient to give or send! They are perfect for any occasion because they are so versatile.

Card Examples: Thank you's, appreciation, get well, Easter, Christmas, Halloween, and "just-because" cards.

9. Presenting presentations:

The presentation's when gift-giving sets the mood! You can get amazingly creative. Different balloon sizes are fun! Grab gift bags, tissue paper, wrapping paper, and a card! Making a homemade card is often exciting! Grab some flowers and design your presentation!

10. Gift Decisions:

You have to know what they like and want to get good gifts. Make it a valuable gift. It can even be an upgraded version of something they already have.

Diary of Psoriasis: My Experience Tracker Pt.1

Diary of Psoriasis: My Experience Tracker Pt.1 By: Kori McKenna In this photo, if you look closely, you can see my hairline has "snowflakes."   This is the first time I have talked about my battle journey with psoriasis, eczema, and similar skin conditions. My first struggle with skin conditions started with scalp psoriasis when I was a child. I also had many skin rashes growing up. Now I am in my mid 20's, and I have scalp psoriasis, rashes, and eczema.      When I went to the doctor as a child, they gave me Head and Shoulder shampoo, which did not keep my scalp psoriasis at bay. Sometimes my scalp would go into remission, but that is a rare occasion that comes and goes. There is no cure for psoriasis.      Recently I went to the doctor as a young adult(Age 23), and they prescribed me three topical medications. The doctor says I have Seboherroic Dermatitis on the front of my scalp, face, and inside my ears; then I have plaques of psoriasis on the sides and back of my sc

Five Ways To Beat Depression

Five Ways To Beat Depression By: Kori McKenna Depression gets the best of everyone at some point. Here are some tips to help get you out of the funk. This is especially helpful as seasonal depression is at its peak this time of the year. 1. Give yourself something to look forward to. At points, this is hard when there might not be anything to look forward to. I say, make something happen so you can find hope or enjoyment in something, even if it's something small.   2. There will never be a perfect time, so it's time to complete dreams, goals, and hobbies that you have put on hold. It's good to have your best interest in mind and start working on yourself.  3. It takes time and practice to get out of depression. If you have fallbacks, it is essential to keep a positive mindset and quickly move forward from setbacks. Resilience and consistency will boost your confidence and help keep you out of depressions.  4.  We have to learn to let go of things we can not control. Take
